About Clinical Research

The decision to participate in clinical research should be made after careful consideration of all that is being asked within the study. Some studies involve commitments of one or two visits to a clinician, while others may ask for commitment over multiple months or years. Before deciding to participate in a research study, please be sure that you understand all risks, potential treatment benefits, and study obligations. You should be given time to ask questions prior to signing a consent form for any reasearch study.
