KU Alzheimer's Disease Center Caregiver Support Group

Who can attend the support group?

Why should I attend?

Dealing with a person who has Alzheimer's disease or memory problems can be overwhelming and challenging for a caregiver. The KU ADC support group provides information on caring for a loved one. The support group also addresses and promotes self-care and health of the caregiver as well as offer support from other caregivers.

When and where does the support group meet?

  • When: Second Monday of each month from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
  • Where: KU Clinical Research Center, 4350 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Suite 1200, Fairway, KS 66205 (map)
  • Please Note: If the second Monday of the month is a holiday, the support group meeting will be held on a different day. Check the events calendar for details.

Are there other Alzheimer's Disease Support Group opportunities in the city?
